Stainless Steel Bearing
Spring Bearing manufactures all kinds of stainless such as 440C ,440,420,304 ,316L and so on ,316 provides superior corrosion resistance when compared to conventional 440 stainless bearings. Type 316 stainless is widely used in the food, medical, marine industries. Bearings produced from this type of steel can run in liquids or can run dry at slow speeds.
Machined semi-precision rings, polymer cages, and grade 100 type stainless balls are used in the manufacture of SPRING BEARING Stainless Ball Bearings. This type of bearing is intended primarily to reduce friction and permit free movement of turning parts. They are best suited for moderate loads and slow speeds.
Stainless steel bearings are widely used in all kinds of general corrosion products. Compared with common chrome steel bearings, stainless steel bearings have stronger rust and anti corrosion performances, Many of our stainless bearings come filled with Food Grade rated grease, directly from the factory.
AISI 440C Material
Higher resistance to rust and corrosion than 52100 chrome bearing steel, Please note that AISI 440C will have magnetic properties.
AISI 304 Material
AISI 304 stainless steel, widely used as corrosion- and heat-resistant steel and also as nonmagnetic steel, is most suitable in corrosive environments where AISI 440C stainless steel can not be used.
· RINGS: AISI 316 stainless, non-magnetic, unground semi-precision.
· BALLS: Standard balls are 316 stainless. When necessary, other types of balls are available on a special order basis.
· BALL RETAINER (CAGE): Standard ball retainers are Polypropylene or Acetal. When higher heat capability is required, bearings can be manufactured with either a high temperature polymer cage or without a cage.
· SHIELDS/SEALS: Open design is standard. Polymer shields and seals can be provided on a special order basis.
· LUBRICATION: KMS supplies the bearings with a light proprietary oil that reduces friction and noise, and is non contaminating in most applications. When necessary, special order lubricants can be provided.
· TEMPERATURE FOR STANDARD MATERIALS:
· Acetal Cage: -40°F to 180°F
· Polypropylene Cage: -40°F to 140°F
